Issue with Offline Bounce

Had an odd situation last night with offline bounce in 11. I used offline to bounce out a session of about 20 tracks, all audio. In the mix, everything sounded just fine. But for some reason, in the bounce, the lead vocal track is muted by like 10db or so. Its like a completely different mix.

Any thoughts as to what might cause this?

No, its all "in the box". As for plug-ins on the vocals, I used the IKM Classic Reverb, sitting in T-Racks, the T-Racks filter and the stock compressor that comes with PT.

That's it for plug-ins. Its a just a scratch mix so nothing fancy at this point.

The non-offline bounce sounds just fine.

If you make the IK plugins inactive, are offline and online bounce the same? Since the IK plugins do not tell PT its latency, i think they maybe could also be faulty doing offline bounce...

That's possible. I'll check that. Thanks. But after thinking about it, I'm not going to let the bounce issue drive what I use in a mix. As long as traditional real time bounce works, I'm good with that.

I've had problems with offline bounce using NLS from Waves.

With NLS on just 2 audio tracks and on the main out the instruments from East West didn't play at all (instrument tracks midi).
However, Ivory Grand played fine (instrument tracks midi).
This happened when I selected the whole song 3:45.

If I selected just the beginning, about 40 secs, everything played fine.

I took away the inserts (NLS) on both tracks and the main out and saved the session as a copy. Then I closed the session and opened it again and everything worked again (the whole song 3:45).

There is obviously a bug to be worked out here.

There are probably more plugins that will cause problems but it's really hard to tell if there's a bug in PT or the plugins or both.

I just closed the session without NLS and opened the first session with NLS. Now it works! ?
I didn't change anything.

I think the bug is probably in PT.
The problem with this is that you don't know if it's gonna work or not. In Tucana the songs can be quite long sometimes and if I would bounce it offline and it doesn't work I have lost more time than if I bounced it live in the first place.
The mening of offline bounce gets lost...
