yeah 1.2.1 AAX, and yes, i have the package and but of course they do not authorize in other DAW's as AU or VST's .. PITA .. i paid for them and they do not see my authorizations .. i grow tired of this crap day after day .. !!!

If you've got a license for Structure not Structure free, AIR provide the AAX update on their site.

Yeah, I just saw that on my Mac, the full version was updated. I forgot that there was a limited version in the Avid plug bundle.

i seems that v1.2.7 is a Paid Update (i tried to install and get the authorization dialog) ... i have the AIR Instrument collection but Mini Grand, DB-33, and maybe one other or the 1.2.7 updates are NOT part of the update i got for all the other AIR instruments .. they are 49.95 each .. sorry, but as long as 1.2.1 version work i will not be updating these ..

are you guys seeing the same thing ??

Any instruments that are included in the AIR Instruments Bundle provided by AVID do not receive the same updates as the instruments on AIR Music Tech's site. That's why if you look at Mini Grand or DB-33 under the system requirements it says "VST/AU only".

So, once AVID updates their AIR Instrument Bundle, you SHOULD receive the updates free of charge, or as long as you have a current support plane/license.

hi kyle, i must be wrong in my thinking that there was a 1.2.7 AAX version .. i thought there was one that we all had issues with and thats why we went back to 1.2.1 .. must be me ..

Did AVID supply the 1.2.7 AAX version as part of their AIR Instruments Bundle?

The 1.2.7 update offered on AIR's website doesn't include an AAX installer, so where did 1.2.7 AAX come from?

I think both John and I assumed the Avid bundle was at the same level as the AIR downloads, which was a bad assumption. AIR only provides AAX plugs that are NOT included in the Avid bundle. So it's up to Avid to distribute any fixes/updates via their supplied AAX bundle.

Ah yes, understood. It's a frustrating situation because AIR's release notes tell AAX users to contact AVID Support, but when I contacted AVID Support they didn't seem to know what I was talking about.

I just wonder whether or not AIR supplies AVID with the AAX update or if AVID have to solve the issue on their own. You'd think, if it were the former, it would be as simple as adding the 1.2.10 version of Mini Grand into the 12.0 Virtual Instruments Bundle installer. Perhaps AVID are using this opportunity to update all the instruments in the bundle. Who knows...
