Default Re-wire is non-existent!!

OK, so I'm running Pro Tools LE 7.3 with an Mbox 2. I bought the system as the 'factory bundle' and have had problems accessing re-wire within Pro Tools. At college, I was able to access this by selecting 'instruments' from the inserts menu. With this version it doesn't seem to be the same. Is there another way to access re-wire?? Do I need to install re-wire separately??

Please help, I've been trying to sort this for months now, and feel like I've wasted a lot of money on a system that doesn't even work properly!!

Thank you!!

This worked for me, I received it after I contacted Tech support at Propellerhead:

"The problem should be solved if you search for and delete the Application
Support/Propellerhead software folder and the Reason files in
username/Library/Preferences folder and reinstall the software.

Do a system wide search for the following files:

Rex Shared Library
ReWire
Reason Engine
Reason Preferences

Delete all instances of found files having the exact names as above.
Delete your Reason folder, ensuring you have moved any personal files which you
might keep in your Reason folder before deleting it.

Reinstall Reason.

Best Regards,

Default Re: Digi

OS X 10.4, 2.0Ghz, intel based, running Reason 3.0 into Pro Tools 7.3. Will try un-installing Reason files and installing 3.5 update.

Thanks.
