Default Sample Rate Clarification Please...

Please excuse my confusion. Most of the PT drum cd's out there are 44.1 (reeldrums for example). Can I use those in my session and then record live instruments through the 192 I/O at higher sample rates or am I bound by the lowest sample rate?

Thanks in advance - Peter

Thanks Chae.

Give these a listen. These are actually individual tracks of live drums where each element (snare, hat, room, etc.) are individually loadable into PT. They are dry so you can mix as you like. Want more room, do it. Want more under snare mic, do it.

Have not heard naked drums. Unfortunately, on their website, they have them mixed with effects on them so you can't really hear them. I will have to download the demo session and mess with them. I'll get back with my opinion.

The clean sound is what I like about them. They can be messed with as you like.
