New Pro Tools Icons!

I got sick of the low-res default Pro Tools icons so I made some new ones! Check 'em out here:

Cool! I like. So I just rt click save as and I can use one for my desktop icon?

You need to download the zip file (down arrow button), then extract it to a folder anywhere on your hard drive.

For Windows:

To assign the application icons just find your pro tools shortcut, right click, properties, shortcut tab, change icon button, then browse to where you extracted the zip file and choose whichever icon you want!

To assign file type icons you need to go to control panel, folder options, file types tab, browse to a file type (.pts for pro tools sessions for example), advanced button, change icon button, then browse to where you extracted the zip file and choose whichever icon you want!

For Macs:

Im not a Mac user, but there is an article here on how to set custom icons.

I haven't finished it yet. All kinds of reasons. Must make a big push in the next few months - there is a lot to do, some more composition, Dolby SR mix, final film print.

BTW that link at the bottom is a trailer. Or are you reading it as the actual film itself? Somebody said that before, in which case I ought to fix the impression that page gives. On the other hand, people like it, so maybe i just leave it alone as a teaser.


Oh well, better get back to the bun fight with Cap'n on the windows forum...

Bob, you have a full nearly finished edit, but with a temp soundtrack with the visuals edited as an off-line from a telecine from the rushes.

I'd say step away and let it die.
No need for digging up little details and examples from the past...You have your interest in the post/film thing and all other stuff ( the good one ) go here...well, for now.
