Default Pro Tools First-How to Monitor When Tracking-headphones..?

Hey all, first post here/

I decided to test the water in PT by using Pro Tools First for a while..Im a Reaper and Logic user with some Cubase in the past

I'm having a very difficult time figuring out how to monitor (headphones) the instrument I'm playing when Im recording..

I got something happening with BUSS 1-2 but it felt delayed and weird

Can't seem to find how to do this..clicked on the 'I' in my track but got nothing

Im away from home on an Apogee Duet
Im getting signal from my mic..
When i arm and record..the guitar is recording..can't hear it while I'm playing tho..

Is there a simple way to do this or is this a process..every other DAW I've used I've sorted this out in seconds..

Hoping someone can run me through this..thanks

Not sure how your session is set up, but it sounds like you are busing the outputs of your channels. Can you try to add a new audio track, assign the output to your main stereo outs then press the I button to see if you hear it?
