Default Re: how do you bounce to disk

If your mix is truly ready, here's the next step...

Select all the regions on all the tracks that you want to bounce. Then go to File --> Bounce To Disk, and follow the directions from there.

Make sure you choose "Stereo Interleaved (Best for CD Mastering)", AIFF or SDII, 16 bit, and 44.100.

Give the soon to be bounced file a name and a location you'll remember. I usually create a folder called "Bounced Tracks" and choose that location.

It'll bounce in real time, so if it's a long mix take a walk. When it's done bouncing, open Toast, find your newly bounced file and drag it onto the first "square" under the Toast logo. The selector should automatically change to "Audio CD" right where you dragged the file. Click "Write CD", choose your burn speed, then "Write CD" again.

I think that's everything. I've tried to go step by step in my head, so forgive me if I missed something.
