Default Bug: VCA Won't Coalesce if Groups are Suspended

Exactly what the title says.

In Pro Tools 12.4, I can't get my VCA's to Coalesce when I right click on them and choose, "Coalesce VCA Master Automation" if my groups are suspended. I'm not sure when this switched, but it wasn't like this in PT 10.
