Default Midi editor goes wacko !!!!! Zoom is dead...

Hi,

When I'm opening the midi editor, my zoom controls don't work....
I cannot zoom back on the note and get stuck everytime at the maximum zoom in. It;s always zooming in no matter what.
I tried all the usual things with trashing prefs and so on but nothing changes.
The midi editor is totally unusable for me.
I don't understand...

Digi, I cand send a session if you want to exam.

Cheers,

A

had this problem too some weeks ago

the reason was a very very long region, so zoomin out seems to have no effect (perhaps pressing zoom out 100times...)

shortening the region to the song-length was the solution. strange behaviour - didn´t occur anymore

I also had this once but changing the region length did not fix it for me. Importing all the data into a fresh session did though.

I have also got this and its really distracting. There is no way to zoom out in the MIDI edit screen. I have no problems in the Edit Window nor in the score editor. I can zoom in with the zoom tool or cntrl + but I cannot zoom out with any tools nor the slider bar. I was also with a client trying to do some midi edits...and competence with your toolset is very important in front of a client, this really needs to be a CS release to fix this.

I was looking for a solution to this and it led me here.
What I do is once I'm zoomed in too much and want out. I click on the music score icon and then click back to the MIDI editor and the zoom goes back to normal and you can adjust it from there.
