How can you tell how good something sounds from just the online videos?

It does sound great. I’ve been wanting this one for a a few years. I think it may have been worth the wait.

Huh??

Cant you tell if a plgin or a hardware unit sounds good or bad in the review videos? Well I can and I cant even imagine how many people buy gear and software after hearing them in video reviews.

They released DSM v3 but with the same automation issue. There is no way to automate the curve rather than saving each curve and loading it into the preset slots A, B, C, D....but 4 curves presets definitely is not enough for the the feature film time line. All other automation parameters are / were always good.

Beside that they have some unreliable behaviour of Limiter on/off and Link on/off buttons in a preview mode. But thats minor and I have a work around for this.

Wow...just got an email from Focusrite. They are including this new Focusrite plugin as part of the software bundle for all Red interface owners. Which is great because it's normally $349. Guess I'll be getting this one after all.

Well...when I went to log in to my Focusrite account to get my bx_Focusrite SC voucher code, I noticed that I had not just one, but four free codes, one each for my Red 8Pre, my Clarett 4Pre and both of my Clarett OctoPres. I'm not sure if that is a mistake or not, since the email that I got only mentioned it being included with the Red interfaces. If it's included with their other current interfaces, then that's definitely a great deal for Focusrite hardware owners.

ETA: about 10 minutes after posting this, I got another email from Focusrite stating that the bx_Focusrite plugin is included with all Red and Clarett hardware purchases.

Downloaded and authorized. I love it!
