Default Hardware Setup Won\'t Save......

Hi,

When i go into my Hardware Setup in my protools template and assign my inputs and outputs and close out of tools.....All fine But when i re open my session my hardware setup defults and does not save any of my selected inputs etc.

I have trashed all my prefs but still no luck....

If you launch PT without opening a session and set the I/O's etc. Then close the dialog and create a new session: It will open with the I/O settings you just made.

If you launch PT without opening a session and set the I/O's etc. Then close the dialog and OPEN a session that had other I/Os assigned to it then that will change the I/Os you have just made.

I/Os are saved with EACH session.

Hardware setup and I/O settings are interacting.

They have a chapter in the Manual about - dont remember where but I read it recently.

the Preference file for the Hardware is being saved to the DigiSetup.OSX file located in:

Mac HD > Users > "User Folder" > Library > Preferences > DigiSetup.OSX file
