Looks like its Digi approved even down to the video card. W3530 is the same as a i7 930. I have heard they are not the easiest to upgrade and I would have to add a HD or two. I just don't think I can build anything close to this for the price.

It looks like HP has some approved PC's for Avid products.
Just make sure to get one that has Windows 7 64 bit on it. Some of them come with XP. And If you go that route, I would add the other 1 or 2 or 3 hard drives yourself, you can buy them cheaper, and they will be better quality.

you can find the HP Z400 and Z800 Refurbished on Ebay for a pretty good price. But most come with XP, so you would need to get W7 and add some HDD's
