HDX card still only shows 256 tracks

Thanks for the report.

How smooth is the GUI on the Mac mini? Can you mix in continuous scroll without choppiness? I'm spoiled by my 2013 Mac Pro trashcan's GUI.

i dont work in continuous scroll but everything else about the gui is faster then my cheesegrater. I did have some issues with one session but it opened on my 2015 laptop so there must be a reason that isnt cpu but it was spiking the system.

i always said i made the right move buying a native card and not the HDX because you can't run VIs on it!

I went from hd2 to native to hdx2 and now back to native. Its all about voices for me. System is running well. I keep activity monitor up to keep an eye on the cpu but it seems fine. So far I'm happy and happy not to spend 8k on a macpro.

Voice Count Firmware update Bump!
256 voices is ridiculous for anything that involves surround.
When you start bussing around in 7.1.2 the voice county disappears VERY quickly.
FFS Avid fix this .
The HDX community have invested in you product.
With 7.1.4 internal bussing , better intergration with Dolby Production Suite , Massive Decrease of CPU usage with DAPS integration, unlimited voices, plus not to mention for the post community Resolve Studio ( with Fairlight DAW inside) costs as much as a Pro Tools annual license ( and you have it for life)
Nuendo 11 and Davinci Resolve 17 are hot on your heels.

People will be leaving in droves.
Seriously, industry standard has lost touch with the industry.
