12.5 plug in auth error
There's two plugins I own that have quit working in 12.5 on my Macmini 2.5 I-5, OS 10.11.6, 16 GB Ram.
The two in question are Antares SoundSoap+5 and Sample Magic AB (a useful comparrison media player that resides on the master bus) Both bring up this dialogue when trying to activate them; "The Plug-in could not be activated because a AAE error was encountered. This pkug-in is not authorized. Please contact the manufacturer for authorization information. (AAE-7058)" When trying under a different user name and launching Protools for the first time it says those two aren't valid 64 bit aax but they are and have worked in the past with this version of PT. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, talked to the respective tech departments at both companies and they have verified the correct activation files exist in the hidden library folders but as of now they only work as standalones or in different DAWs than PT 12.5. Has anyone else navigated something similar? Thanks Marc Willett |
