Default saved copy in >> cannot read session - why is it saved as alias file? [SOLVED]

I am totally missing something here.

I used the "save copy in" to copy audio files and session in latest format, to my external drive. But the session file that is saved is not a session file at all, it is an alias file, its like a shortcut, so when i loaded the data from my external drive to my other computer, it cannot open the session and says it needs to find the actual file, not the alias.

Why would PT "save copy in" save an alias file and not a session file? What am i missing and how do i fully backup my session so i can open it on a different machine?

I am still having this problem. When I "Save Copy In" It creates a folder with an alias session and a macintosh HD folder enclosed. It making some weird saving loop in my system.

Scratch that! The solution was not checking "Preserve file hierarchy"
