Creative Collection install problems

I'm haveing issues downloading the creative collection portion of my Pro tools 8 LE installation. I've made sure that I have the lastest window media info, quicktime, and I'm also running on IE 7. I'm using an original mbox. I've downloaded the install 5 times from the site and have also made sure I have the lastest winzip software. When I install it either tells me I need to upgrade windows media and quicktime. When I check the knowledge base it tells me to have the lastest winzip and/or try downloading again from digidesign site. I've tried both several times and still won't load properly. For some reason it doesn't extract the datacab 1 and datacab 2 files. I've also tried that as well and it doesnt work. Is there anywawy I can be shipped an install disc? I've had Pro Tools for a year and I'm not about to pay $2.50 per minute just to get a bogus answer. I've checked everything else and I can't fix it. But the rest of the program works fine.

I works PT without quick time, never needed, maybe whith video you should, but try install whith out quick time or windows media, when protolls install ask you quick time ignore it and go ahead, i did, none problem about, i use mp3 option even well without quicktime installed

Weird - many techies here have stated that Quicktime is required for PT "to run properly"

I don't think thats the problem I think its more of a install problem directly from digidesign. I've check the forum b4 and thats what seemed to be other ppl's issues.

weird, real world is beyond techies, at least for me no problem whith out quicktime

You need QuickTime. In fact, the PT installer will tell you to install it if it didn't find it during the install.

flautista, if you really don't have QuickTime installed, sooner or later you will figure out that something doesn't work and installing QT will probably fix it. Do a search on the DUC for details.

I did ,nothing definitive,I know while install PT ask for QT Ijust passed over non issues ,
since I am on windows7 without QT, how everI just said I had have no 'problems, I have two computer one Mbox pro and other with 003+,

is like RIPLEY Believe it or not, is not bible,just how it was for me

Yes, but as Greg said, sooner or later you will have problems.

Not to be rude but I'm looking for a real solution to my issue. I'm only looking to find out how I can get an install disc if anyone knows how to contact digidesign to do please reply.
