JL Cooper Surround Panner Not Working
Hey All,
I am hoping to get a little help. I can't seem to get my JL Cooper surround panner working. I have been talking with the people at JL Cooper and while they have be great help, the device is still not working. So here is the deal. The computer is G5 running Pro Tools 7.4 HD. I have a JL Cooper surround panner, NOT the Digidesign branded version. The panner is connected to a midisport usb midi interface. I have setup the panner in the Audio Midi Setup and tested it. Its making noise and the lights blink on the midi interface. I start up Pro Tools and connect the surround panner in the peripherals>midi controller menu. Then the midi out light continually flashes on the interface and Pro Tools tells me it cannot communicate with the surround panner. I have tried the 7.2 and 7.3 profile files by copying them into the controllers file. One at a time ofcourse. Does anyone have an idea of how to get this working? any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!!!! |
