New structure, strike, transfuser run on PPC

these plugs run on ppc

I´ve installed them on my other computer (an intel mac, because the installer only runs on intel) and moved the content to my G5, there they work in PT8 the same way as on my intel machine - no problems

instead of this - hybrid and velvet only run on intel


thought I let those PPC-guys know this

no - unfortunately velvet 1.0 doesn´t run with this iLok authorization, too

Although I purchased the upgrade for use on an Intel Mac, I did try out both the new Strike and Transfuser on my G5 out of curiosity. They will launch and run, but not without some issues. For example, Transfuser always complains its content file is corrupted and that I should reinstall (which, obviously, I cannot since it's Intel only). I also can't seem to switch styles in Strike while maintaining the same kit. Am I missing something? It's not mission critical to have these working on the G5, but it would be nice. I'd be grateful for any suggestions. I'm using 7.4 and 10.4.11 on that computer BTW, which could explain some of the issues.

strike, structure, tranfuser running without any issues on my G5, so far my experience after 2 weeks - no problems with transfuser content or with changing strike-styles by remaining the kit

I´ve installed the PTIEP on my macmini (Intel) and moved the plugs & content via ethernet to the corresponding G5 folders, but I assume you did that too

Well, that's encouraging news! I notice from your sig that you're running PT 8, so maybe it's because I'm running 7.4 that I'm seeing these issues.

Just got the new Transfuser and Strike working properly now on the G5 with PT LE 7.4 and Mac OS 10.4.11.

I discovered you CAN actually run the plugin installer by extracting it from the intel only main installer. You still need to copy the contents by hand, but just running the plugin installer seems to have cleared up all my issues.

May Have spoken too fast on this one.

I can get Strike to audition presets settings but when I try to load the preset it doesn't load the sounds just the preset name. The only way to get the sounds for the preset to load is to navigate from the menu to the plugin-settings folder and load it from there...But the preset parameters don't load correctly.

Anyone with a PPC have any answers?

All of the strike sound files (1-10) are in the same folder.
