You have to be on an active support plan to get that bug fix update, apparently, hope you are on one.

Hi Nigel,
I don't believe I'm on a support plan, didn't give AVID any cash since 10/09/13 when I upgraded from PT 10.
Not sure I can give them any more if they can't fix something like this bug.
I found 11.3.2 in my account on 26th september.

So, is the heal bug fixed in 11.3.2?

I posted in this thread earlier, as I was annoyed by this bug as well. I am on a subscription plan, so have been getting all the latest updates. I can report that the bug does not appear to exist in PT HD 12.2, but I can't say exactly when it was fixed because I had been avoiding trying the Heal Separation command for a good while due to the bug. Not much help to those of you on PT 11, I know.

Thanks pdubber,
Maybe time to sign on the dotted line then. I'll try it on 11.3.2HD today anyway but hopes aren't high.

Cheers,
Pete

When this first happened to me I thought our editor was moving sync points in my music edits! It's not just linked AAFs either... happens when I copy on import.

It isn't just AAFs either. This happens when forward duplicate a selection (control+option+command click) within a clip, then heal boundaries and the front of the region is healed and thrown out of sync!

My "heal bug" test session still heals discontinuous TC edits in 11.3.2. That session was created under 11.3.1 though, I haven't tried with a session created under 11.3.2 - may make a difference.
