Clip gain value not showing
For some reason the clip gain value is not visible for a couple of clips only. I have the fader icon but not the value in dB. Any idea ?

Re: Clip gain value not showing
Do you have clip gain bypassed for those clips? Right-click a clip, select Clip gain and check if Unbypass Clip Gain is an option.

I checked the shortcuts thinking I might have hit a combination of keys by accident but I could not find anything. |

Coalescing clip gain to volume automation, or vice versa, are PT HD and PT w/CPT features. Don't know if that's what Mack has.

Re: Clip gain value not showing
It looks like this when a clip has a CG breakpoint. It can happen accidentally when you are not properly selecting them.

Re: Clip gain value not showing
I have more on that. When I clic on the fader icon on the clip, it does not display the absolute value in dB but the delta dB. So that's probably the trick here: is there a way to display the relative rather than the absolute gain ?

Re: Clip gain value not showing
Same problem for me.
Protools 10.3.9 (non-HD) on Win7. The clip gain numeric value is not showing on clips, even after creating a new session. Also tried to reinstall PT. |

Re: Clip gain value not showing
Bump.
I also have this issue with PT 11. I have found that I can get the info to re-appear by either clearing the clip gain or rendering it. However, it not being visible at all times (with the view > clip gain info enabled) is definitely a bug and should be addressed. How should I go ahead and submit a bug report? Mods? |
