Yes I understand that, but with the HD (TDM) cards max. PT version is 10.3.10 and it is supported on 10.8.5 OS (though with some quirks it also works on 10.9.5).

I know for sure that Mac Pro models 4,1 and 5,1 will work for you. The 4,1 model can be upgraded to 5,1 model if you or some or your friends are comfortable enough to do it.

Unfortunately you do not have upgrade path from such an old version. You need to buy new license for PT10 (but do not buy subscription because that only comes with latest version, not PT10/11/12/latest bundle).

Yes, if by "new tower" you mean 4,1 or 5,1 model and not the 2019 model that can be bought brand new. You only need to follow the compatibility information linked earlier; to repeat myself, install 10.8.5 OS first and then install PT 10.3.10

If you want to buy brand new 2019 Mac Pro, you need to forget about using anything old. You need everything else brand new too. You need brand new PT license and you also need HDX or HDN card, depending on your needs. You will also need DigiLink I/O license in addition to brand new PT license, otherwise your 192 will not work.

And the later versions of PTools are they worth it
or what about just using the audio cards with Logic

Have you already understood that the cards you have are not supported after 10.8.5 OS version? Even if you use Logic, you need to stay on that OS.
