Default trim plugin ? clip gain?

Hello everybody,
2 simple questions which probably the wonderful Avid community can easily answer.
1) does the pro tools express 10.3.4 have the "CLIP GAIN" ?
2) I need the TRIM plugins where I can download it?
thanks a lot

1) Don't know about PT10.3.4 as I came in on 10.3.8 and that had clip gain
2) trim should be part of the basic PT program

In PT12 (and as I recall, also in 10) Trim is in the final plugin category "other." On a stereo track you need to instantiate it as a multi-mono plugin. It's not truly stereo... try looking there. Hope that helps.

I don't believe that PT10 has clip gain. Sorry.

PT10 DOES have clip gain - first PT version to do so. At least PT10.3.8 had it so I don't know if it came in in the initial release of PT10 or later (but it's in there).

I think he is talking about PT Express which is at 10.3.4 but maybe he means full version. What version is it you have? Full PT10 or PT Express?

If you have express then no clip gain.

He does seem to be talking about Pro Tools Express. That's what's in his original post at least.

Thanks for the clarifications about clip gain in PT10 and PT10 express. It's been a few years since I moved forward from my dual boot system. And I never owned Express.

I hope the OP found the Trim plugin.

Hello ,
I confirm I have "pro tools express 10.3.4". So no clip gain.
BUT STRANGE is that PT express haven't TRIM plug in either
I checked also in digidesign/plug-ins folder , but nothing.
anyone has an explanation?
Thanks
