Default Trim clip to cursor bug: A and S keys

A and S keys are not trimming clips when clips are selected. It works fine if the edit cursor is just flashing over a clip, but not when multiple or single clips are selected.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

If a Clip is fully selected, then there's nothing to trim.

It's working behavior is this:

Yes, I understand. To clarify, I usually select all clips and then shift + click near the end of the regions to designate where I want to trim.

In 12.5.2, you could trim all the regions at once this way. For the record, the b key still separates.

I misunderstood. I'll see if I can duplicate this. Hopefully a few others can chime in also.

Confirmed that A & S don't trim to a highlighted selection, but that's consistent with 12.5.2. I went all the way back to 12.0... same thing. A & S only work on an insertion point for me.

Can you please check 12.5.2 again, and if that's in fact different than 12.6 share more info/screenshots?

Thanks!

Delete key is for a highlited area.
A and S are insertion point to clip boundary delete.
Always has been.

This behavior doesn't work in 10.3.8 with selections, as to your description above. Insertions across multiple tracks do work though. Ctrl+t will crop to selections. Screenshots or video would likely communicate better on this one if you can. Thanks.

Many of the keyboard focus commands in 12.6 on my end are not working. This includes A & S(Trim to Insertion). Need some confirmation from other users before I trouble shoot and trash prefs etc.

Thanks for everyone's help.

I think I've identified the problem.

Previously, I must have been using the "all" group before using the A and S keys to trim all clips. That is working as it should.

Just had a bit of confusion.

Thanks again.
