Sc48 propagation delay?
Sc48 propagation delay?
Has anyone ever measured the propagation delay if I were to come out of a channels direct output? Does it matter where the pickoff point is? And is there any differences what analog out is used, if its thru an IO16 ¼” TRS or the standard analog XLR outputs? And how much delay is added when you use the delay compensation, with just mix turned on and with mix and insert turned on. I know this isn’t the ideal way to do this but there are many reasons why I want to see if this will work. I am looking into whether it would work to send a direct out feed to one channel of an IEM (In Ear Monitor) transmitter and a mix feed to the other channel and use the blend feature of the IEM to let them use it as a more of me control. Since the signal will be in both channels of the IEM but from different paths I need to be sure they are properly time aligned. |
