Default No virtual instruments installed with protools express

Greetings. I just bought an M-Audio Mtrack Plus for my daughter. It came with a copy of Protools Express. Everything is installed and working EXCEPT the supposedly included Virtual Instruments (Boom, Xpand 2 and Structure Free). I have reinstalled and even looked in the DAE plugin directory and they are nowhere to be found. My avid account says there is no available downloads for her products. Help please!

Hi

Check out this play here :

http://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/...g-in-protools/

Post back if that doesn't help you out. Note that the instrument installers are way down in your account

When I select 'my products' it says there are no downloads available and that all codes and installers come on the cd.

Do I have to install the ignite software to get the air instruments installed or are they part of the protocols express installation? I can't find them anywhere

Look under "view my product details" in your Avid account and look there.

Ah I see .. Let's see if someone else jumps in later today who can shed some light on the ignite pack as we never used that. If nothing happens I will forward this to Avid people and see what is supposed to be done.

All The Best and sorry that I couldn't help out more here

Although Pro Tools Express is included, support and downloads for all of the Pro Tools Express software included with the InMusic Brands M-Audio and Akai interfaces is provided by InMusic, by contract and by their choice.

You can get downloads from their website:
www.inmusicbrands.com/ptex
Installing and Authorizing Avid Pro Tools Express

If you recieved a DVD with the PTE software, check that disk for a separate installer for the Instruments.
If you downloaded the PTE software, then that link above is where you would get the instruments.

On the M-Audio site, you can find some tech help with this Knowledge Base article:
M-Audio M-Track - Setup with Pro Tools Express
