Profile surface VGA problem

Hi Guys,

Got a problem with the VGA output on my profile surface, do you know if its is to repair/replace.

Basically the output is pulsing at times and the rest it changes colour to red/purple etc rendering the screen pretty pointless atm.

You probably already swapped out the VGA cable, next I would swap out the digilink. Meanwhile it would be a good idea to make a laptop work over VNC so you could keep working.

Hi,

This sounds like a possible fault or short in the FOH Link cable that connects the rack to the Profile control surface. Check for bent or damaged pins in the connector for starters; a replacement can be arranged through the VENUE support line that digidesigner mentions.

Cheers, will check it out this week as I'm back from holiday, the link cable should be intact as its in a fixed install, will keep you posted

Ne cable arrived yesterday, will fit it this evening hopefully.
