This is scaring me. I've lost several files of good tracks I designed on the ProTools Free software. These tracks were saved under my Pro Tools Free software, and stored my the hard drive. I save the tracks and named them, only to discover the next day that some or all of the tracks dissappeared from the files. I remember closing and opening the files to see that the tracks were permanently stored and they were, but that was yesterday. What could be happening? My Macintosh still seems to recognize the names of the files, because it asks me where they are by name, but I can't locate them. They were only stored in one place, the Pro Tools file. Please help! Have you tried using the Finder to find them?
