Default Scrolling Keyboard Shortcut

Ummm... morning folks.

Keyboard Shortcut for Scrolling, such a thing? You know, you want to follow your arrangements with the playback cursor and you have to mouse the scrolling arrows, quite annoying, don't you think.

Why don't you just turn on scrolling? Options->Scrolling and then you should have the options "None", "After Playback" and "Page". (If you've got the new DVToolkit, you will also have the Option "Continuous").

"Page" is probably the option you are looking for. ( Page 271 )

I believe this is possible using Shift + Scroll Wheel on the mouse to scroll horizontally. I am not on my workstation right now but I use that feature often.

No problem. My goal is to never use the scrolling arrows.

You can also use Alt + Page Up/Page Down (Windows). Substitute Alt with Option on Mac.

Yeah countach74, one problem with that, you might as well use Page Scrolling, I was looking for something a little smoother than that, but thanks for your attention.

ALL my navigation including zooming in PT is done with the scroll wheel only. It really speeds things up.

Scroll horizontally > Shift+Scroll Wheel

Scroll Vertically > Scroll Wheel

Fine-tune scroll (Fine Adjust mode) Control+Scroll Wheel (I havent figured that out. It doesnt seem to work)

Zoom in/out of timeline Alt+Scroll Wheel in timeline

Zoom in/out of waveforms Alt+Shift+Scroll Wheel in timeline

Hey thanks for your input Shane, you always seem to be a busy man, but I ran into a couple of indiscretions.
Quote:
Scroll horizontally > Shift+Scroll Wheel
Yep cool ...as Kurdt pointed out.
Quote:
Scroll Vertically > Scroll Wheel
Cool
Quote:
Fine-tune scroll (Fine Adjust mode) Control+Scroll Wheel (I havent figured that out. It doesnt seem to work)
Yeah I see what you mean, but if you hold down Shift+Alt+Scroll Wheel you notice the difference in scrolling release (as compared to Shift+Scroll Wheel)
Quote:
Zoom in/out of timeline Alt+Scroll Wheel in timeline
Whats this, I can't work it out?
Quote:
Zoom in/out of waveforms Alt+Shift+Scroll Wheel in timeline
Ctrl+Alt+Scroll Wheel for myself within the waveform's themselves.
