Default Re: Does Harpertown MAC PRO 3,1 still work on Pro Tools 11?

if you are still looking try www.ipowerresale.com and get a 2012 6-core 3.33ghz macpro or even a 12-core ... i got one form them cheap and they are even cheaper now ... these will serve you much longer than the 3,1 - i do still have a 3,1 sitting here doing other duties (DAT transfers to cubase pro 8) at the moment ..

just an idea for you .. hope it all turns out well for you

I SEE YOU BOUGHT THE 3,1 ... disregard above and good times ..

Still trying to figure out the best route I should go.

Anyway I purchased the computer for $250, the guy also let me take it to the Apple store to run a hardware test to make sure everything is fine.

Wonder if I should invest in a ram program?
