Default \"Timeline\" and \"Session\" lights in edit window

I've searched the manual, but have not found out what the "timeline" and "session" indicators mean. They are located in the edit window above the tracks on the right-hand side. The lights are green or red.

Thanks-

PC

If the timeline LED is green, it means you don't have any offline regions on any playlists. If it's red, you do

If the session LED is green, it means there are no offline regions in the session. If it's red, you do.

Sorry, but could you go deeper into what you mean by offline regions? Does this mean out of reach (ie: deleted)? Moved?

Luckily, I'm just curious, nothing seems to be going wrong..

Thanks-

Offline regions are regions whose actual audio file can't be found for one reason or another. Typically, the session will prompt you when you open it that it can't find something. If it's been deleted or is otherwise lost, any regions referencing the audio file(s) that are missing will become offline. Those regions will then appear italicized on the track and the regions list. I hope that helps.
