PT LE 8.0.4 & Music Production Toolkit 7.4...NEED HELP!
Hey everyone,
I posted this a couple months ago with no results  So, i thought i would try again! I recently upgraded to PT LE 8. Everything is updated to 8.0.4 and have MPTK 7.4 installed. Everything with the MPTK works except, from what i've read, i'm supposed to get 64 mono or stereo tracks (128 voices) now that I have upgraded to PT 8. Before, with PT 7.4, i had 48 with the toolkit, but on Digidesign's site it says that i should now have 64 (pt 8 comes w/ 48 now). I've read posts of people saying that MPTK 7.4 isn't working w/ PT 8... Mine works fine, i'm just not getting the track count i thought... ANYBODY USING THIS SET UP??? ANY SUGGESTIONS??

I think you need to upgrade to the MPTK 2 for 8.0 and up...

My toolkit worked fine on xp sp3 until I recently upgraded to win7 64bit. I'm on 8.0.5 and am hoping to somehow make it work for a session I am trying to wrap up.
I do plan on moving to 9 but in a few months. Anyway, my previous setup with an AMD chip on xp sp3 worked fine with MPTK. Good luck.
