Default Xpand!2 Plugin not available

Tried not to create a new thread because of the same problem as reported by several users, but there's no reply from the other threads.

I opened ProTools | First but it prompts a message about Xpand!2 plugin not available, so I've navigated the marketplace and find the plugin, but unfortunately the plugin page does not show properly. The answer from other threads suggested to update the billing and shipping address. I've updated my address on both Billing Address and Shipping Address, but still failed to access Xpand!2 plugin download page. Or this page is not available for countries out of UK?

By the way, I think this problem can be solved, or at least please show a message to users to update the address info before using PTF. Two cents from a full time web developer.

What exactly do you see when you click the Xpand!2 link, what is the default browser set to? It might help if you add www.avid.com to the list of allowed sites for pop up and or addons, usually found on the internet option of the browser.

Regards,
RC

Hi nayiaw,

Can you configure your firewall to allow Pro Tools First.

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201642

Just a heads up Mac OS X 10.10.5 is not yet supported in Pro Tools First.

Regards,
RC

My firewall was Off. I turned on and allow Pro Tools First but the problem still persists.

Hi nayiaw,

I'd like to find out the results if you download the Xpand!2 from the AppManager, to access the AppManger right click show.

I saw the "Get Your Free Xpand!2 Plug-In" in Feeds but I couldn't click on the "Info". Other feed links are working.

Under Apps section, do you see Xpand!2?

Windows 10 is not officially supported at the moment, but if you are using Internet explorer 11, can you set/add avid.com to the compatibility mode.

1. Open the desktop, and then tap or click the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar.
2. Tap or click the Tools button Tools, and then tap or click Compatibility View settings.

3. Under Add this website, enter the URL of the site you want to add to the list, and then tap or click Add.

RC
