Ocassional 1394 trouble
Ocassionally I'm getting sample rate errors that won't allow playback or record. Most of the time I'll just say 'ok' and work on. I'll look over and notice the Host 1394 LED on the 003 to be 'blinky'. There comes a time when eventually there's nothing I can do and I need to reboot.
If I attempt just rebooting the 003, the Host LED won't come back on (when it's within this error routine) after the 003 goes through it's power on routine. Usually if I reboot the 003 and the computer, I'm back in action. What type of things should I look at? Replacing the FW cable, or have any of you come across this before? I'll post a Sandra tonight when I get home if needed. Thanks.

Re: Ocassional 1394 trouble
I would try a new firewire cable first.
