WHITE NOISE mBox issues Bouncing only fix RESET?

I updated my ProTools Le software to the most current for the mBox and the OSX10.2.8

and at times during the process of working with protools I get the worst WHITE NOISE attacks...where I need to shutdown PROTOOLS and restart the application....

what a bother...

am I taxing the USB? I am only using 8tracks....and this doesn't seem to TAX USB?

but I cannot figure any other reason....the last time I had this happen it was a needed UPDATE from digidesign...

Now I am running REASON.....and it was doing fine...but most of the time it white noise's me on BOUNCING down my MIX....or tracks....

Any idea?

might I also add that the audio BOUNCED or PLAYING DURING THIS WHITE NOISE is NOT destroyed but after I restart the APPLICATION it PLAYS FINE....or bounced fine...it just will NOT PLAY AND IT SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ME WHEN I AM LISTENING TO THE MIX WITH CLIENTS AND THEN SUDDENLY "SHHHHH!"

or should I get rid of the mBox and get the 002?
