Default Removing plugins causes hard left pan of track.

I often find in PT LE that after removing a plugin on a mono track, the output on the track switches to a hard left pan - almost like the right side monitor has died (not the case). If I bump the pan slider a little, things will track for a few seconds in correspondence with the pan, but then it'll snap back to the hard left pan. And it'll stay hard panned until I try nudging the slider again. Then the cycle repeats.

I recently cleared the Digi database and preferences to rid some clutter within PT - this offered no resolution to this drop out issue, so i'll try the forums. It's not a common occurrence, but it does seem to come up at critical moments.

Any suggestions?

Do you have pan automation data written for the track?

If you do have the automation turned on, just click it to off. problem solved.

Check, there's no automation of any type on the tracks in question
