Pro Tools 2021 supported on High Sierra?

Hi,
I have a Mac Pro cheese grater 4,1 that I flashed to 5,1, with a clean install of High Sierra on it. I am about to buy an HDX card. But unless I'm mistaken, I am not seeing High Sierra supported for Pro Tools 2021. Is that correct? I think High Sierra is the highest I can go on this machine without upgrading graphics cards? I'm new to the whole subscription plan, but if I sign up for the Ultimate Plan, is my only option to get the lates 2021 release?

To be honest, I think you would benefit greatly to upgrade your GPU anyway, so whether you use HS with older PT or Mojave with latest PT you would enjoy that new card.

I have one of those old 2009 macpro4,1 and at that time GPU's were weak.

It installs and works just fine. 10.13.6 on a 5,1 12-core 3.46GHz.
You can also install Mojave without upgrading your graphics card.

Install a new SSD, partition it, and experiment so that you can go back and forth between macOS/PT versions.

So, just to clarify, you're saying that Pro Tools 2021 installs and works just fine on High Sierra, without upgrading to Mojave? And without the Metal compatible upgraded GPU?

Works totally fine in High Sierra.

Wasn't "officially" tested with this version by Avid -- when they add a macOS (Big Sur), they drop a macOS (High Sierra) so they don't have to test too many platforms.
