Yes it is checked. Still does not address the problem. You can zero the fader in record mode but not ONLY when punching in. Am I still missing something?

You´re right. I´m sorry. Its been a while since I worked with external mixer for no-latency monitoring, so I had to sit down w/PT to remember exactly. I actually used to make this work by using one hand on cmnd-spcebar to punch in, and the other on the mouse to pull down the fader and eliminate the phasing double-monitoring. And thats of course with other people performing, not me.

I dont think there is a better way to do it. At least not on 6.4 which is where Im at.

Yeah, same on 7.3. Why this hasn't been addressed by Digi boggles the mind. Such a simple thing to implement, Ableton Live allows you to disable internal monitoring as well as every other DAW on the market! Thanks for the help.
