Default Generic MIDI control of PT?

Hi, I was wondering if there was any way to control the Pro Tools mixer remotely using a generic MIDI controller like a Data Entry slider?

HI,

this is discussed in the "midi controller reference guide". You a device to send SYSEX commands, not just dumps and use the CS10 Protocol to do it. Programmed my doepfer Regelwerk that way. works great.
