I would like to know if the OP has tested the MacBook Pro i9 with Pro Tools and what the results are, please.

Re: MacBook Pro i9 throttling and performance
I haven't tested it per se...but it is definitely the smoothest run of Pro Tools HD that I have ever experienced. The computer seems to work right through various functions of the program without hesitation or flaw. Although it can get very warm while being taxed, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Re: MacBook Pro i9 throttling and performance
Are you still feeling satisfied in your purchase compared to your previous Mac?
I know drive speed is very good, but I'm wondering more about the performance of CPU, especially when running: - Highly compressed Kontakt libraries (like NI's Symphonic Strings and Rise an Hit) - iZotope Ozone - Complex Reaktor ensembles - any other CPU intensive plugins If anyone uses such power hungry software, please chime in!
