Just want to make sure. I am installing 8.0.1 tonight and want to update evrything including that old POS from digi. I find it strange that you guys can program what is right and digi can;t. What is up with that?
yes i use it on xp 32 all the time, what i wrote it on. OS is universal for "operating system" is a cross platform term. TRASHER is for pc only. win 7 is the only thing i have not tried it on but it does work on it as well. works on mpowered as well as le.

Thanks. I appreciate your reply. Can I also assume it will trash everything on all drives?

I have audio D drive, C drive (System), and data e drive all sata and internal.

Does it also delete volume folders and everything the other utility was supposed to?

I am installin 8.0.1 now...wish me luck!

yes it will trash the databases on all drives that are hooked to the system as well as the prefs and app data folder on the c drive. there is an enclosed read me with it that has details and different options.

most of the 8.0.1 upgrades are going fine. i did mine in about 10-15 min and did not have a lick of problems.

It works fine with Win7 32bit for as far as I can tell. I've used it several times now and it works like a charm. The only weird thing is that it asks to put in a disk in my a: 3,5" drive but I already mentioned that. It doesn't make any difference though... Still works great!

could you check and see if in your bios, your floppy drive, which might be called, disk a or legacy diskette, is shut off. if it is not, shut it off and see what it does. i am thinking about the code and might have figured out why, but would need to know this fact.

it also should only happen when trashing the databases. if you just do the prefs or app data you should not see it if you do everything or just the databases you should see it. thanx

I think it had to do with something else.. It hasn't happened anymore. I've tried all options.

so just to be clear, it works perfectly! Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the Trasher. It does work beautifully. I have LE8 on a WinXP SP3. I just would like to request for one thing if it were possible. When I press "p" to clean the plugins window, I get an error that reads that the program failed an attempt to launch. Then it closes. I believe it is due to my XP in Spanish. Therefore, there's no "Commom Files" thread but "Archivos Comunes". Can the code be fixed to include this path and complete its full functionality?

I don't know if I'm asking for too much, but anyway, thanks for even just reading this.

All the best. You did a great job.
