Cannot renew rented licenses in mpowered 7.1 anyone familiar with this?
I am using m-powered protools 7.1 on a PC with XP service pack 2
I have 'rented' plugin licenses (with ilok) off of the m-audio site, used them for their time frame. Later when I try to rent (via ilok) and initiate again, it does not allow this as if it was only seeign the expired license and not the new one that is on the ilok at that point.. There is an option at that point to even go and update the license via internet but that feature is actually inactive at digidesign per the screen I get when trying this I have even un-installed the original rented license in the windows control panel, rebooted and it still pops up upon protools load as an out dated license still loaded on the system. Does anyone have experience with this and a possible solution ? I have two project that are due this weekend where I need to rent a license for sound replacer and im stuck |

We tried looking up your rentals, but I don't think we found anything conclusive about what the problem may be, nor could we be absolutely sure the rentals in question were yours.
I think the best thing would be to contact customer service with the info on your rentals and I'm sure they can get to the bottom of this. |
