Default 'Do To All' Soft key behaviour

Hey all,

I've just noticed some slightly unexpected behaviour with the Do To All Softkey (although it might be intended).

I'm setting up a handful of Automation Softkey commands on the Track Colour Buttons of the S1, and 'Do To All' seems to react the same as the 'Do To All One Time' mode, so instead of only acting when pressed in combination with another button press, it latches on until another command is used.

Is this intended behaviour? I can see how this might be beneficial for some users to allow for one-handed commands, but this seems to be what 'Do To All One Time' is for?

Cheers,
Tim

Tiny bump.

Can anyone confirm or clarify this behaviour?

Thanks!
Tim

Not sure. I stopped using the "Do To All" commands when I figured out that Alt-Touch, or Alt-Latch was faster and easier. Do To Selected can be achieved with Alt-Shift-Touch etc. But perhaps you have a different workflow goal.

Thanks Nathaniel - that’s a really good call.

I’m using it to quickly drop all faders into or out of Trim, or to reset all faders back to Read from whatever state they are in. Alt seems to work well combined with the Trim and Read softkeys and doesn’t have the problem of Do To All latching.

Ace! Thank you.
