Default Faders won\'t move

I just brought home a Pro Tools HD session (which is supposed to open in LE). Ever since, my edit view has been rendered useless. The volume and pan faders will not move. Even if I open a new session, the mix view faders and pans will work until I touch a fader on the edit view, then none work anymore. Any ideas? Anyone had this happen before? Maybe a setting I'm overlooking? I tried resetting inputs and outputs but no luck. Not sure where else to look.
