Academic Pack 2 won't install

Hello-new to the board and P/T as well. Just getting going on my first project, using M powered 7.3. Academic, FW410, xp, Sony Vaio w 1 gig RAM, awaiting arrival of my Glyph drive, using system drive for first project (a no-no, I'm aware) So far the learning curve has been ok, but I am running into a problem; I want to install the plug ins in the Academic Pack 2, and when I put the disc in the DVD all I get is a dialog asking me which media player I want to play it with; Windows Media, Real Player, etc. There is no installation wizard initiated. I am not prompted to enter authorization codes or anything. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.tim

Can you browse the contents of the disc from My Computer to locate the setup or installer file? You may need to right-click on your CD drive from My Computer and look at the auto play tab, maybe try and set it to take no action by default.
