Default Rolling back firmware on SYNC HD

Is it possible?

I have a client who is running Pro Tools 7.3.1 (I know!) and after lending his SYNC HD to a friend who updated the firmware to 2.2.1, his system now won't recognise the SYNC HD. I'm thinking that if its possible to roll back the firmware to 1.1.2 perhaps then this will solve the problem.

Any ideas and thoughts welcome.

Cheers.

Default Re: Rolling back firmware on SYNC HD

It's probably that it's been switched to 'be' a Sync HD, you can switch it to 'be' a Sync IO - can't remember how off the top of my head, it's in the pdf.
