I agree with you. The first upgrade (Logic pro) was a goal, but the Logic 7 was a fault because IMO this is worse than Logic 6, expecially the GUI. And I spent 320E (390$)for it, only for having another synth, a drum machine and other ridiculuos features. My decision to switch to PT was when Apple announced that the main features in Logic 7.1 was the song compatibility to Garage Band songs.
Having said that it's true that having to pay an upgrade after only a month is not a good idea from Digi and I agree with you about that, but in my previous post I wanted to point out that the range of money that Digi ask us for the upgrades (at least until now) is acceptable.

I hope it also has ability to drag in files and have them match to tempo - like Cubase, Logic, Ableton, Garageband, Soundtrack, Acid, Nuendo, etc. can do.

hey maybe tehy should focus on getting their software stable and worry less about hardware, just a thought. and for all thos about to yell at me email me and i will give my list of over 20 bus protools hasn't fixed since the move from os 9

dont get me wrong im all for progress but get what you have working first
