S3 and UAD Console

Hi everyone

When I open the UAD console for my Apollo Twin on screen the S3 drops out i.e. faders return to base position etc. and everything springs back to life when I close the console...is this normal or do I have an incorrect setting?

The issue you're having is actually part of the functionality. I believe this feature is to allow you to jump between different apps that work with EuControl and the S3 will respond accordingly.

If you're wanting the faders to stay in place when you jump out of Pro Tools, you need to go to EuControl settings, thats not in Pro Tools, its in the EuControl app. Click on the assign tab, then select "Entire Surface" under the lock to application button.
