Default telephone/low-fi vocal eq effect.

does anyone know good settings for a telephone/lowfi vocal effect?

I have most of the Wave Eq's. the ren stuff, and C4 and what not. and of course have the digirack eq's. i also have the D-fi stuff, but the lowfi doesn't seem to do what i want it to do at all.

The waves 10 band eq has a "telephone" pre-set.

Telephone lines don't pass anything above 3k and nothing much below 300 Hz. Also, add some compression to the track and some distortion.

adding a compressor with "over the top" settings, and a limiter and just push them in distortion can add some nice lofi effects too
