Default 485 connection on Dolby 569 Encoder

I'm looking for someone who has this gear in their studio. I'm wondering what PCI Card you are using for the 485 connection on the rear port of the 569 encoder. I have purchased the Startech (2 port PCI RS422/485) Card. I've purchased a 485 cable to be sure all 9 wires are in the cable. So Between using the recommended settings on the card and the 485 cable I can't see why there isn't a connection. The device settings in the computer and in the 569 are set to what I've been told by dolby and what the PC needs to be.
If anyone has connection with engineers at Dub Theaters where this gear is and puts me in contact with them I would greatly appreciate it. The Dolby office in L.A. Is confused...It's probably the stinking PC.
