Updating to Windows XP version of Protools
I am going to be buying a new PC soon that will be dedicated solely to Protools and I was wondering, if I am not running Windows XP on my machine now, can I still download the new XP version of Protools onto this machine and then transfer it over later? What about the service pack? Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Yeah, a program's a program. You can download it to your computer just as if your were making a CD of it. You could then transmit it accross a network or whatever you need to do to get it to the other computer.
Oh, and congratulations on the upgrade, you won't regret it.
